Building Wealth? My money has been growing lately.....going from $1,000 in total savings to $10,000 in less than a year. What do I do with this money? Stocks had gone up 0% in the last 6 years because of 9/11. Even a money market account in Hawaii brings 4.3% a year without risk and broker fees. I eventually want to save to $100,000 to open a business with my brother.
why are all these wealth building and scam companies coming from Uhah? Why are these building wealth companies coming from Utah? You have Trump University, Rich dad Poor dad advisors (they also work out of Arizona), and Income Strategies Institute. Also you have a great many network marketing companies that come from there as well... Why are they spawning from there? yep rich dad is 2500 to start, ISI is 4K a class but seems usefull, and trump U is 1500 to start so far

What is the best way for a young person to build wealth? I'm 24 years old, and I've been working at my job for 2.5 years. It doesn't pay much (26,000/year) but I'm in the process of finding a new one. I have a pretty decent amount of debt, but have a decent start to saving ($2,000). I'm able to make minimum payments on all my debt every month, and able to cover living expenses, but I want to get my debt paid down and start building some wealth. I know I'm smart and savvy enough to be able to build wealth and make good decisions regarding my finances, but some direction and information would be helpful. Thanks!
Agree or disagree? The hypocrisy of independence and building wealth.? This can affect politics. I saw a commercial yesterday. Some Mafia-types are trying to convince suckers that the way to independent living, success, building and sustaining wealth is to follow their plan which you have to pay for. I thought about it for a moment, how many gullible fools would fall for it.... Now if you think about it, you cannot achieve any kind of true independence by building wealth because the very focus and process of building wealth builds an inherent crippling dependency on money and it's trappings. True independence in my opinion is the ability to live, survive and grow with absolutely NO dependence upon money or man-made structure, only relying upon yourself, your skills in the natural world, living off the land as pioneers did. Money and trade are artificial things and participating in them only encourages dependency and dependency creates both wealth and poverty - they are both sides of the same crippling coin. Agree, disagree or ????
How has leveraging debt helped you create wealth? I saw a show on CNBC called something like the millionaire inside where they had a panel of 4-5 financial gurus (I recognized two as authors of various books and on Yahoo finance). Their last topic was about leveraging debt to build wealth.

Anyone been to The Donald Trump Wealth Building Seminars? Is it any good or worthwhile? It's in my area this week and I was thinking of attending, but I want to hear if it's garbage before I committ. Sometimes these networking and "so called" educational seminars turn out to to be live infomercials trying to get you to buy something. Just want to see if Trumps was different and really does teach people something.
Building financial wealth? I am looking for some sound advice on how to build financial wealth. I do not come from "money," and I don't have a high paying job. I'm tired of living pay check to pay check and never having anything to show for it.
How do I build wealth? I am 22 yrs.old and never want to worry about bills, buying a car, or opportunity costs I am currently employed with a big private company that offers me a 401 k. I don't have any bills because my parents pay for them, say what you want but that's not why I'm here. I am graduating from college this semester in Business Management with am emphasis in Human Resources. I am being offered at this company a chance to manage some of the HR functions, and eventually replace our existing HR Manager. I am very driven, and determined to never worry about money. I am from a wealthy middle class family, I grew up getting what I wanted most of the time, regardless of price. Of course there were occassions where I didn't; but I want to be happy. I know that money is the root of all evil, but I cannot be told "no" because of credit or income.
Charter Financial "Building Wealth Together"...anyone have experience with them? I recently came upon Charter Financial. They buy cash flow notes and also offer a course to do it yourself. Has anyone has experience with them and what kind of experience you had. This doesn't sound like a Russ Dalbey situation as Charter themselves also buy notes themselves as a company whereas Russ Dalbey sells the program. www (dot) brokeropp (dot) com - this is where the opportunity website is www (dot) charternotes (dot) com - this is where the company purchases the notes. They are a member of teh Better Business Bureau and they have a descent history with limited complaints, all of which were resolved. (4) When I mentioned Russ Dalbey, I didn't mean the "Building Wealth Together" is through Russ Dalbey. I mean the program I'm looking at doesn't sound like a problematic program like Russ Dalbey puts out.
With ability to raise at least two hundred thousand dollars, what business can i start to multiply my wealth? I read and hear that business and investment success is not so much dependant on the amount of start up capital anylonger, but the viability of the business or investment idea.So guys out there, send me what business you advise i should do to start building my wealth.Better if you advise something you did yourself or know somebody who did because at 40 with a business degree i dont want to risk my core money in blind experiments.Much better if you can use some figures and time frames to demonstrate the likely viability of your ideas..
My theory on wealth building? 1) Save and build a bankroll 2) Don't waste time chasing short money -- working to the bone to get that 5% raise and extra vacation (you still gotta go to work 5 days a week and if you slack they'll pretend they never knew you) 3) Don't be a fake stunna -- buying bling that'll depreciate 4) Take calculated risks -- this goes back to #1, be able to sustain a few hits to last and beat the game in the long run 5) Have at least 2 contingency plans -- probability of 3 unlikely events occuring is vanishingly small Thoughts?
Safest way to build real estate wealth? I consider myself a fairly ambitous guy, I'm optimistic but not naive. I noticed that most 22(23 this month) year olds aren't realistically setting achieveable goals for themselves why is that? I'm a college student who plans to go to law school in a couple of years. After which I will be a practicing criminal attorney. With that said I hope to achieve an income of nearly 80-90k after five years starting out in the low 60's with as little debt as possible. I then want to save up frugally, and instead of buying a home, buy a 5 or 6 unit apartment building live in one unit and rent out the other 4 or 5 units. Then I will repeat to I have a portfolio of maybe a 10-12 properties is this a real achieveable goal, likely even if I plan? How does one get pass the DTI issues associated with financing 10 properties? When they do the loans they just go stated? So if anything over four units is commerical, then I'll just keep it down to four units then.
Do you think Credit equals wealth? I see tons of questions in this category which pertain to a TOTAL obsession over credit scores, cleaning up ones score, improving scores and the like. PEOPLE: The use of credit, especially credit cards, robs you of your number one wealth building tool (your income). Going out and getting a Visa with a $5K limit, running it up beyond the limit, making minimum payments until 2019 won't help you. It won't help you at all. Please reply with your thoughts as to why so many people have trouble with this concept?
