Obama plans are about redistribution of wealth. Not creation. Agree?

Public Comments

  1. no he is all about recreation, of America
  2. Disagree - they are about creation of wealth without the distinct disparity that currently exists. Scarlett - the article you provide never mentions higher taxes. Poor people spend a greater % of thier income locally than rich - you want a retail consumption boom in the economy - income redistribution is the best way to go about it.
  3. He has been very clear that he wants to punish the "haves" and reward the "didn't bother to earn its"
  4. Yep. I haven't heard it put so well, but you're exactly right.
  5. The reason Hillary is having such a hard time running against him is that she's running against a dream. Who knows what Obama wants to do besides hope, dream, and give speeches?
  6. This article explains how the rich start cutting back rather than spend and invest when they feel that the are being targeted for higher taxes. Working poor more pinched as rich cut back http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22884491/
  7. That's the dread of those poor individuals who look at the nation and see "socialism" everywhere. Relax!
  8. so are hillary's..... its called socialism
  9. If its redistributing all those profits that have been made on the back of the suffering of americans....then count me in. I say take from halliburton and exxon...and give back to our schools and health care and bridges that dont break up killing people.
  10. You create wealth by redistributing it........right? Yay! Rainbows, unicorns, and daisies!
  11. your right hes a fake, look how he and his wife messed up today, HIllary for me and if she dont win i go for McCain.
  12. Right now our American citizens are forced to take a backseat to corporate greed, entitlements and foreign interest. Obama wants to change how we educate the youth; how to place Americans in America first; redistribute our social and community responsibilities; take better care of our soliders while and when they return; return our nation on a better solution to financial equality; and protect our overrun boarders from illegals and terrorist.
  13. Agreed, just look at his finacial advisor is a former Fed Chairman. He's all about maintaining and controlling the monopoly.
  14. He is for stealing the fruits of the American Peoples labor, and they are lining up behind him like sheeple at the slaughter. So sad that so many Americans are so grossly un-educated about something they supposedly believe in so strongly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsDlO2Lr_cg
  15. He definitely wants to take away the work incentive. Better to sit at home, drink beer and drive large vehicles (the kind of large vehicles Obama drives).
  16. When the President and CEO of Exxon/Mobil can quit his job and walk out the door with a $300 Million dollar package after trying to convince us its the fault of the Middle East and how much we depend on the Arabs that the cost of gasoline is so high, it's time to take a close look at the "earnings" of big corporate executives who make tons of money while other Americans have to budget and sacrifice just to get by. Re-distribute the wealth or re-claim what was ours from the beginning before all the hype and lies we were forced to live by. The system works; it just needs to be more transparent as to who is profiting from the sacrifices made by all Americans.
  17. I think he usually talks about ending 'corporate loopholes' because there's a trillion dollars there. That and taxing the butts off of the top 2%. Either way, Republican or Democrat, once Bush's tax cuts end taxes are going up, possibly mostly on the rich, but still going up for everyone. Afterwards, I guess he's going to spend a ton on universal health care, the UN to fight global poverty, probably pay people's mortgages and credit cards, and other 'shared prosperity' stuff
