1. Google closed last night at $505.24. When the market opens this morning you may get that, or above or below it. Keep in mind the stock market is simply a group of people (a lot of people) looking to buy or sell a stock. the "last" price is simply the last agreed upon price for a transaction between two groups. This is the most basic concept of stock trading. I suggest (very strongly) that you spend some time learning the market. There are plenty of great books out there for "newbe's". Right now it sounds like you're gambling... not investing. Getting involved in the "market" is a great thing for you. CONGRATULATIONS. Don't allow it to become a dissapointment because you didn't understand it.
