Can anyone recommend simple money management software?

I'm looking for an easy-to-use money management program for home budgeting only. Nothing fancy, and nothing that requires brilliant IT skills. Also, reasonably priced. Thanks

  1. Quicken Basic would meet your requirements. Don't buy a version earlier than 2005 because they are discontinuing support on that, and earlier versions effective this April. Check online for specials on 2006 to save some $.
  2. how about using microsoft excel which is on most pc's nowadays or cheap to obtain then search for finance template on the microsoft office site
  3. We'd advocate looking at http://www.booglesltd.com/links.html where there are 3 possibilities... winweb (its free), quickbooks starts for about $50 ?? and kashflow - a small charge, but you get to access your books online... all 3 help money management - although, excel, of course is already on your PC, but only useful for you, if you know how to use it fro cashflow forecasts and budgeting and setting up a cashbook, etc.,
  4. Hi, To help me with money managment I'd recommend software I have been using and am very happy with. Personal finance software by Australian business Parcus Group. Easy to use program with features including family budgeting, financial planning templates, real estate analysis, shares valuation, life insurance... Costs US$24 so it's not a huge investment but a good value for money. You can get it on http://www.parcusgroup.com/index.html Regards
