Why is it so scary for poor people to take risks when it comes to financial freedom?
I know there's bills you have to pay but it isn't that big of a risk. If you're barely making it in life and you're barely paying your rent which is scary, you don't want to be homeless. However, if you're living like you're walking a tight rope with being homeless and paying your rent on time should this tell some poor people. Hey, I need to step my game up so I can acquire more income so I won't have to live like I'm walking on a thin line barely making it in life and paying my bills. This is not a comfort zone it's more of a pressure zone if anything.

- They have more to lose by having less to lose and there are many cunning people out there ready to take what little the poor person has away. The bottom of the barrel.
- because until you have been poor you will never know what is like to have nothing......... if you have nothing going into debt is a very serious thing.......................
- It is scary because most people take risks to earn extra income. You need to set reasonable goals. If you are able to pay all your bills on time, I would make only the minimum payments for a little while and save up a few hundred dollars (I'm all for repaying debt, but you need to have some money in order to avoid borrowing again). ING has an orange savings account that has good interest and no minimum balance. I'd look into them. You need to find ways to get a secend stream of income going. I'm working right now for a search engine, and I signed up for an affiliate program to place adds on my website. If you have any skills or want to do handy work, use websites like craigslist list to attract clients. Just make sure to keep accurate records. Pay yourself first, designate how much of the extra income can go to debt repayment. You need to get to the point though where you have enough in assets that they are covering whatever amount of your bills that you want them to. .
