How long did it take for you to achieve financial freedom ? How did you do it ?

- in the blink of an eye. Inheritance.
- I was able to pay my mortgage off early after years of hard work and long hours. It was around the time of the stock market crash when I thought it was best to sell investments and pay off my debts.
- I don't have what I call freedom yet, but I'm comfortable. I still work the 9 to 5 job (which I love and would never give up). The whole major secret is to not buy anything until you have the money for it. Now, I might make an exception or two here--a house or auto. And if that's going to happen, then I don't want "standard" terms. Pay WAY more on either than the monthly payment, and pay them off early; if you can't do that, then you shouldn't be buying it. By buying only what you have money for at the time it makes it a bigger reward, and makes you care about it more. You'll live a very spartan life for a while, but the rewards are great down the road.
- Worked for 40 years, but you never ever achieve "financial freedom". There's always going to be some kind of a catch. I recommend giving 10% of your income to God(tithing) and investing 10% of your income in some form of conservative financial vehicle. No matter how little or much you have left over. By doing this over a long period of time you will be better off than 90% of the population of any country. BELIEVE IT!!! I Cr 13;8a
- Male does take the freedom without delay and woman never gets it!!!It is true.
